Luke Wiltshire is a transgender and queer actor/writer currently based in Melbourne. A 2023 graduate of Flinders Drama Centre, his film credits include Carnage for Christmas (One Manner Productions), now streaming on Amazon Prime in the US, and a leading role in With Love, Lottie, which premiered at the Sydney Opera House in 2024 and continues its festival run both locally and internationally. Luke also wrote and starred in the short film Amour, produced by Repeater Productions as a proof of concept for an upcoming feature he is confirmed to author and perform in. His other screen work includes Wings To You (dir. Charles Li), Kinderspiel (dir. Brendon McDonall), and further projects with Repeater Productions and Pistol Shrimp.
In theatre, Luke’s autobiographical play Squid which explores the life of a transgender man received multiple grants and an inSPACE residency with Brink Productions, with a showing directed by Stephen Nicolazzo at the Adelaide Festival Centre in March 2025. He has also performed in DaddyAlgorithm and Massage Therapy (Adelaide Fringe, dir. Ellen Wiltshire) and as the Commissioner for Children in the exhibition BROKEN (MOD Museum, dir. Richard Coburn). Upcoming projects include a commissioned touring play for CRAM Collective, debuting in Adelaide, Melbourne, and Sydney in 2026, and Theatre Republic’s Future:Present 3.0, set to open in October 2025.
