Jake’s professional credits include Onstage Swing in Sister Act the Musical (Crossroads Live), Timothy Price & Others in American Psycho the Musical (See You Sunday Inc) and Henry in development musical ‘When Henry’ (Be New). Jake also studied at both WAAPA and Elder Conservatorium in a Bachelor of Music Theatre where he honed his acting techniques, finessed his singing, and developed his dance and movement making him a rounded triple threat with unique performance style. Jakes experience as a swing is vast, covering multiple roles on Sister Act as well as being an onstage swing/cover in multiple University shows such as Urinetown, Legally Blonde, and Les Miserables.

Jake’s experience with film is displayed in the film adaptation of Songs for A New World which was produced through Elder Conservatorium. He also loves voice acting and physical comedy and always is finding new ways to use funky voices, impressions, and movements to embody different characters.

Throughout his career and training, Jake has had the privilege of working with creatives such as Nikki Snelson, Mitchel Butel, Trevor Jones, Mark Taylor, Alistair David and Bill Buckhurst. He is excited tocontinue developing a career spanning all parts of the performance industry.

Overall, Jake simply loves to make people laugh and to light up a room, while also being a hard worker and easy to work with.
